Natterer’s Bat In A Cave
During a recent inspection of a sandstone cave in Cheshire, I came across this Natterer’s about 50cm up inside a crack just above head-height. Natterer’s were known to be roosting here a number of years ago so its nice to see that they’re still around. Every time I go to this cave, part of me hopes to find a lesser horseshoe hanging up, but you cant have it all.
